Requirements


It is essential for every candidate to meet the following requirements, in order to enroll in an RN school.

  • Minimum age required for program is 18 years.
  • Students should clear the drug test and criminal background check.
  • It is imperative for every applicant to clear the standardized entrance test (TEAS- Test of Academic Skills) with minimum passing scores.
  • He/she should be graduated from an approved high school or GED equivalent.
  • The applicant must submit a valid photo ID and address proof.
  • Proficiency in English language is mandatory.
  • It is obligatory to submit fingerprint report.
  • It is compulsory to score 75% or higher marks in English language and 80% or higher marks in Math.

Education/Courses

In order to gain the registered nurse licensure in Maryland, an applicant must clear the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). This exam can be taken after finishing any of the above courses.
